Nikolai is an entrepreneur with a track record in healthcare Internet ventures. He co-founded SIMMS/Diamedx Inc. (mysimms.com), where he served as a CTO. In this position, he orchestrated the design and development of Web-based enterprise software for medical imaging centres. He is an active participant in Toronto’s rich technology community and sits on advisory boards of several emerging companies. Nikolai believes that giving back is vital to making our world a better place and is putting his beliefs into action through his work with the Heart Institute of Caribbean (caribbeanheart.com) and Greenscroll.org. Nikolai holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University in Toronto, Canada.
Oleg had started his career as a software and database developer. Initially involved in the development of a hotel/restaurant information system East Concept as a programmer, he joined Diamedx, where he has led a web-based information system from an idea to implementation. Oleg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology from York University and a Master of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business. Oleg has also received Scrum Master certification and Toastmasters’ Competent Communicator designation. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Oleg is an avid sail boat racer, which allows him to test his limits and enjoy the thrill of competition.
Alexander is a computer engineer with specialization in artificial intelligence. Once started as a software developer supporting existing modules of industrial ERP system OmegaProduction he never stops his education and professional growth. Today his experience of software development contains educational systems, mobile applications, warehouse and sales management solutions, software for managing medical devices, web applications and even expert systems for metal processing and welding. Being a true entrepreneur in his heart, he has left a high position in a software development company to join the HealthAware team.
Brendan’s career in public relations began six years ago, where he worked in high profile media agencies and on the corporate side, providing strategic counsel, issues management, writing services and media relations. More recently, he works as a media relations consultant helping clients prepare their stories for the media.
